Creating a Rainbow Sweater with My Granddaughter

She was full of ideas, telling me exactly how long she wanted the sleeves and the overall length. She even requested cuffed sleeves and buttons to add a special touch. My mother had given me a lovely jar of vintage buttons she had been collecting since the 1960s, and my granddaughter was over the moon as she picked out the buttons she liked best!

Fitting and Adjustments

As I stitched away, we made sure to fit her along the way, making adjustments as needed. It was such a joyful experience to see her excitement grow with each step of the process.
