Redesigned Lands End Pants

I am a big fan of Lands End clothing due to their quality and durability. I typically shop from the clearance section, so I don't always get exactly what I want. These pants were excellent, but they were too baggy and the length was too short for me. Instead of getting rid of them, I chose to redesign them. I significantly took in the sides with a hidden stitch. Then, I removed the sleeves from a black sweater I disliked and attached them to the bottom of the pant legs. Finally, I added some vintage buttons to the sweater section. I'm thrilled with the result. What do you think?
